Sun Certified
System Administrator for Sun Cluster 3.2 Software
Overview
The Sun Certified System Administrator for Sun Cluster 3.2 Software exam
is for system administrators who install, support and administer Sun
Cluster 3.2. Sun Certification recommends that test candidates attend
the course ES-345: Sun Cluster 3.2 Administration and have a minimum of
6-12 months of Sun Cluster installation and administration experience,
basic network administration and ability to perform Volume Management
using both Solaris Volume Manager softwware (SVM) and VERITAS Volume
Manager (VxVM). The exam includes scenario-based multiple-choice
questions and drag-and-drop questions requiring knowledge of Sun Cluster
3.2 topics including: Sun Cluster hardware and software product
features, software framework planning and installation, cluster
administration, as well as performing, installing, and configuring
volume management and applications.
The goal of Sun certification is to test on a particular
job role. This exam certifies learners as a system administrator
managing cluster environments. This exam does not waive Sun's
requirement for Sun to validate any cluster installation by a Certified
Sun Cluster Installer before offering Sun Support services. Information
on additional Sun Cluster programs and services can be viewed at the
links below.
